Tastemaker Tuesday: Kate Bosworth

Ever since “Blue Crush”-admit it, you’ve seen it and love it-I’ve had a serious girl crush on Kate Bosworth. Something about her effortless natural beauty and ability to keep off-duty outfits just as exciting as her red carpet looks, makes me want to recreate everything she wears.

This newly engaged actress (to an equally stylish man, Michael Polish) always looks like she’s ready for a music festival on any given occasion. (See: ankle booties, floral dresses, and layered denim) Her signature bohemian style is a feminine alternative to her more edgy red-carpet looks (keep scrolling!) but just as fashion forward.

And then there’s Kate Bosworth’s red carpet style. Just as feminine as her off-duty looks, but this girl knows how to turn it up a notch (or five) when she steps out at night. With a face and body like hers, it’s obvious why designers flock to dress her. She always keeps her makeup simple and lets the clothing do the talking with edgy show-stoppers.
